Mixing to Make Heat!

8.12.09 We experimented with yeast and peroxide to see if it would produce heat energy. Within two minutes, the temperature rose 14 degrees.

S'mores!!!!!  

8.28.09  Students enjoyed making S'mores in a solar oven as a culminating activity for our unit on Heating and Cooling.  Thankfully the sun broke through after two days of rain.
