VHS PEER HELPERS

If you feel that you may have difficulty controlling your anger or negative emotions at school, you can tell a teacher, tell your school counselor or go see a PEER HELPER. VHS Peer Helpers are available each block. They are students, just like you, who have been trained to help you solve problems and work on controlling conflicts at school.

Peer Helper responsibilities include: School Safety Week, ISS classroom visits, Peer Mentoring, Peer Mediation, Middle School Visits, plus much more.

Peer Helpers are current 11th and 12th graders. If you are interested in being a Peer Helper in the future, contact Mrs. Erin K. Gaskins in the guidance/counseling office.
