The Valdosta High School Counseling Department is staffed with five certified professional school counselors and one secretary available to provide assistance with educational planning, career decision making and personal/social concerns.

9th Grade:

9th Grade Academy counselor serving all 1st year 9th grade students.

SAT Test Prep

SAT study materials are available to any student who is planning to take the SAT. Copies of The Official SAT Study Guide by Collegeboard are available for checkout in IMC 2.  Also, registration information for The Official SAT Online Course is available in the counseling office.  Students may come to counseling office before or after school or during advisement
with a pass to obtain information about the online course.
