Hello and welcome to my web page. I am Mrs. Cook VHS Fine Arts Department Chair and Dance Instructor. I am also the Marching Cats Auxiliary Director and dance line choreographer for the VHS Marching Cats. My other duties include: Teacher Support Specialist (Mentor Teacher), Georgia Learn and Serve Ambassador/Coordinator, VHS Academic Service Learning Coordinator, Youth Organized for Disaster Action - YODA coordinator, 21st Century Leaders and Red Ribbon Week Coordinator, Wildcat Dance Team and Miss VHS Scholarship Pageant Director, AVID Co-Coordinator & Elective Teacher, and IB CAS Coordinator.

My students and I have successfully implemented our Academic Service Learning Program D.A.N.C.E. - Teaching and Learning Diversity through the Arts. We are currently working on our 2009-2010 Academic Service Learning initiative YODA-Youth Organization For Disaster Action program - C.P.R. - Children Providing the Resources. The Dance Department's 2009-2010 schedule is full of wonderful events that will showcase our students outstanding talent and leadership skills. My tutoring hours are Wednesdays 2:30pm - 3:15pm

Colorguard and Dance Line Rehearsals are schedule according to performance and competition dates.

Currently the Marching Cats Colorguard and Dance Line rehearsals are Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:00pm until 5:00pm and Thursdays from 3:00pm until 6:00pm.

Dance Team rehearsals for basketball half time performances, dance concerts, and competitions TBA.
